Why We Do It
HALO Youth was founded on the principles of lived experience. Our team understands the struggles of incarceration, addiction, and reentry because we've been there. We believe in second chances because we’ve lived them. By providing support, mentorship, and opportunities for transformation, we help young people break cycles of incarceration and build lives they are proud of.
Too often, society writes off incarcerated youth before they ever get a real chance. We refuse to accept that narrative. These young people are not lost causes; they are future leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and change-makers. They just need someone to believe in them—and we do.
