Come work for us!
We’re Hiring Mentors at Halo Reentry
Did you have a rough childhood?
Did you grow up without the support you needed?
Were you involved in the juvenile system, impacted by trauma, or forced to figure life out way too early?
If so, Halo Reentry might be the place where your story becomes someone else’s turning point.
We’re looking for mentors who have a genuine passion for working with youth—especially youth who are navigating trauma, system involvement, unstable environments, and difficult choices. Every young person we serve is carrying something heavy. They don’t need to be fixed—they need someone willing to walk beside them, guide them, teach them new skills, and help them see that a different future is possible.
This role is for individuals who have fully left their old life behind and are committed to living with integrity, accountability, and purpose. Lived experience matters here—being in recovery or having previously been incarcerated is not a barrier; it’s a strength when paired with stability and growth.
What You’ll Do
* Mentor youth one-on-one and in group settings
* Facilitate skills-based groups
* Support youth through real-life challenges
* Take youth on fun, pro-social activities outside
of their usual environments
* Be a consistent, positive presence in a young
person’s life
Requirements
* Coaching certification (required)
* Ability to pass a background check and drug test
* Strong boundaries, consistency, and a heart for youth
* Commitment to living the example you’re teaching
At Halo, you don’t have to choose between doing meaningful work and being paid well. You get to do what you love, make a real impact, and be part of a team that believes redemption, growth, and second chances are real.
If you want to be for these kids what you wish you had when you were younger, we’d love to hear from you.
